Central Florida Oral, Facial and Periodontal Surgery is not your average surgical practice. We are a center for excellence, technological innovation, and education. We pride ourselves in providing solutions even to the most challenging cases while focusing on the patient experience every step of the way. It is our core belief that patient education is key to a successful surgery, and we take our time to ensure that every patient has a full understanding of the process. We also understand that listening to our patients is just as important as educating our patients.

Our obsessive attention to detail is palpable in our patients’ post-operative experience and surgical outcomes when performing surgeries. We quite simply believe that “good enough is never good enough.”

Serving the community that we belong to is what drives us every day. Dr. Caylor has been serving The Villages community for over 40 years. Dr. Jaffal, a Central Florida native, has dedicated his nights and weekends to taking care of facial trauma patients at Ocala Regional Medical Center. Dr. Livada has practiced as a periodontist for several years in private practices throughout Central Florida.

Visit our website often for announcements regarding some new exciting community outreach projects we are planning. We cannot wait to meet you and help you reach your goals.

Background Information

Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons and periodontists, Dr. Caylor, Dr. Jaffal, and Dr. Livada manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and face. Our surgeons practice the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery, and benign tumor removal and reconstruction. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. In addition, our surgeons treat and reconstruct patients with facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures. Dr. Jaffal currently covers trauma calls at Ocala regional medical center.

Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation and outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.
